ABOUT THE HEALTH SCIENCES LIBRARY

 

The Health Sciences Library, the first university medical library in South Africa, came to being in 1912 with the establishment of the Medical School of the South African College. 

The library is situated at the Health Sciences Campus and serves all the divisions and departments of the Health Sciences Faculty.

 

Welcome to all our new students!
 

New databases!

We now have access to Scopus, a citation database, which covers the sciences and medicine.
Sage Research Methods Online is a research methodology tool which assists with both the theory and creation of research projects.
