In memory of those who fought for equal access to education in the struggle against the Apartheid regime, UCT Libraries remembers the Soweto Uprising through displays on these events on 16 June 1976 in the Research Wing and the Main Library.
The Year in Review 2018 sums up everything that makes this university what it is. While volumes could have been filled with a comprehensive report, the intention of this document is to give you a broad overview, and a few highlights, of the institution’s activities, its goals and its many achievements over the previous year.
