Maintenance notice from ICTS
Following this coming weekend’s ICTS scheduled maintenance slot (on Sunday 19th September), please note that ICTS will perform additional maintenance on Saturday, 9th October from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
This work will impact the UCT data centre. As a result, many UCT services will be intermittent on the day.
How does this affect me?
UCT email, Teams, and other Microsoft services will not be impacted.
However, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on 9th October, all other UCT services will be intermittently available. These include Vula, PeopleSoft, the VPN service, and all UCT websites.
Eduroam connectivity may be intermittent, but wired connections on campus will not be affected.
If you need to use any of the affected UCT services, please schedule your work for either before or after the work period.
