DVDs, videos, and microform viewing

The main Library’s DVD collection is kept at the Loans Desk … just ask there for the DVD you need. Headphones may be borrowed at the same time for viewing DVDs in the library.

DVDs required for specific assignments are placed on short loan and can be obtained from the Short Loans Centre.

Viewing stations:
Most of the computer workstations in the Libraries have DVD drives, so DVDs can be viewed at any of these stations.

There is also a dedicated DVD-viewing area in the Chancellor Oppenheimer Library to the left of the stairs as you enter the Library from the foyer.

In the branch libraries: The African Studies Library holds large collections of DVDs and video tapes, and provides both video tape and DVD viewing facilities. Branch libraries that have DVD and video collections also offer viewing stations.

Microforms:
A microform reader-printer (for viewing and printing both microfiche and microfilm) is available in the African Studies Library.
